Denmark Forms New Government Under Mette Frederiksen After Coalition Deal

(MENAFN) According to reports, Denmark is preparing for the formation of a new government led by Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen after coalition negotiations were successfully concluded, Danish broadcaster reported.

The Danish Royal House said in its official schedule that Frederiksen is expected to meet King Frederik X aboard the royal ship Dannebrog in the city of Odense, a step seen as part of the formal process of establishing the new government.

The meeting is expected to officially confirm the formation of the new administration following weeks of talks between coalition partners aimed at securing a stable parliamentary majority.

Frederiksen also confirmed via social media that she was on her way to meet the monarch, signaling that the political process had reached its final stage.

Details regarding the composition of the new cabinet are expected to be announced after the meeting, once the coalition structure is finalized and formally approved.
