Government Communications on media accreditation for Special Official Funeral of Justice Fikile Eunice Mokgohloa
Following the announcement by the Presidency regarding the funeral of the late Justice Fikile Eunice Mokgohloa, the Government Communication and Information System would like members of the media covering the funeral to take note of the following:
Accreditation (Media Only)
There will be no accreditation process ahead of the funeral service. GCIS will assist with logistics on the day.

Justice Mokgohloa who passed away on 20 August 2026, at the age of 65 will be laid to rest on Saturday, 29 August 2026 at Hillsong Church located at Plot 2, Corner of Lavender Road and Sage Avenue, Wonderboom, Pretoria.
The service starts at 07h30.
President Cyril Ramaphosa has declared that she will be honoured with a Special Official Funeral Category 2 featuring ceremonial elements provided by the South African Police Service.
President Ramaphosa has directed that the National Flag be flown at half-mast at all flag stations until tomorrow evening, 29 August.
